The first half saw an early try for Beccles.

Beccles was in Felixstowe's half constantly pushing for tries but good defensive work and unforced errors was frustrating for the home side. A good second try and conversion from Beccles relieved the pressure. Felixstowe began to push in the Beccles half and with some great runs and passing that was nearly handled by Beccles.

Late in the half saw some good play by both sides but eventually Beccles finished the half with a try and conversion.

A quick back and forth re-started the game but a solid try and conversion settled the team allowing a quick follow up try. A fantastic interception from Felixstowe saw a great try for the visitors.

A spell of pressure from Felixstowe worried and this followed back and forth rugby clearing kicks,intercepted balls and tackling from both sides.

Unfortunately an injury to a Beccles player stopped the match and the boys from both teams finished the match in a gentlemanly manner of three cheers.
