The Bulls were fired up as it came to the last game of the league. The sun was shinning and yet again a lot of running rugby was to be played.

The Bulls showed their intention from the start with fast ball from the
half backs combination of Sale and Harmer. Quick into the breakdown
Hinsley and Stark secured a good platform for wide ball to be spread and
a walk in for Izuzquiza in the corner. Good offload play from the
opponents allowed them to get behind the Bulls defensive line to score
under the posts, extra's added. Foul play from Hampstead showed them
concede a penalty well within Wade's range, penalty added. Beccles
continued with great defensive efforts from Johnstone and Ling but to no
avail, Hampstead continued the offload onslaught and scored under the
posts again, extra's added.
Mistakes came again from Hampstead conceding penalties allowing Wade to
pin them back in their half. Smooth line out allowed the Bulls to drive
the maul over with a score from Lake, extra's added.
Good lines from Long and Duruk allowed Beccles to break the game line
but Hampstead were yet again penalised for not rolling away. Wade added
the penalty.

Half Time Score: 18-14

The Bulls started the second half in similar fashion showing great crash
ball from Wade and Long. The pack leaders Lake and Porter secured ball
well but Hampstead insisted on not releasing the tackler and Wade
stepped up to convert another penalty. Hampstead then used the wind to
their advantage and pinned the Bulls in their own half forcing silly
mistakes at the breakdown area. Hampstead comfortably converted the
penalty.
Spectacular runs from Hall and Duruk crashed through the backline
allowing forwards Rix and Wilson to trundle through Hampstead's
scrambled line. Yet another penalty was concede by Hampstead and Wade
finished off a good kicking performance adding the penalty.
Final score finishing 24-19 a great performance from Beccles getting
themselves off the bottom spot of the league. Great commitment has been
shown through every game of the season with great leadership from
captain Lake.
