Pitts made his first appearance of the season in the front row and Suchy returned from injury at centre. Danny Rix took his place on the bench after returning to the game recently.
Beccles started the game quickly and soon opened the scoring. A kick over the top by Gedney into space was well picked up by the flying Girling who showed good power to hold off a couple of tacklers and reach over the line.
Beccles were on the front foot in the scrum but were misfiring at the lineout. They managed to keep Broadland in their own half and restricted them to few chances. They managed to add another try before halftime. Quickly recycled ball was fed out wide to Harrison who rounded the defence to score in the corner.
This gave a half time score of 10 – 0.
The second half continued in the same way, Beccles on top but not converting their possession in to points regularly. They did make the breakthrough with another try. A number of drives by the forwards was stopped short of the line. Puxley quickly fed the ball out to Gedney down the blindside and he cut through the defence to score.
It was Beccles who finished the game with another try to secure the bonus point win. Another break down the blindside saw Gedney put in an intelligent chip behind the Broadland defence. Harrison won the race for the touchdown for his second try of the game.
Man of the Match was Gooney who carried the ball strongly all day.
This was the last game of this section of the league programme with Beccles securing a sixth place finish. After a couple of weeks break they now move in to another league structure with teams from the South and West sections of Eastern Counties 1.
